Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.

Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates, or purchased from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power increases the damage that weapons and melee attacks and spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give players additional health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of every preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's current level and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.

For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show a pop-up window that shows the required requirements. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor), the tier of that item, the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item in your inventory when you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how close you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
